The First Fifty Years is a 188-page full-colour hardback commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens — the tournament that transformed rugby into a global spectacle.

Co-published by PPP Company Limited (P3) and Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR), the book documents every chapter of the tournament's extraordinary story: from its grassroots origins to its position as one of the world's great sporting events. The First Fifty Years draws on exclusive archival imagery, new interviews, and previously untold stories.

Photography and highlights from the landmark 50th tournament are included in the book. It is available in print and, subject to sales targets, will also be released as free digital editions in Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

A meaningful percentage of revenue from every corporate order is remitted directly to Hong Kong China Rugby, ensuring that buying the book is an active investment in the future of the sport in Hong Kong.

Proceeds also support community partners including Rugby for Good, the charitable programme that uses rugby to create positive social change across Hong Kong. The book connects collectors, sponsors, and rugby enthusiasts to a cause far bigger than a single tournament.
