What is The First Fifty Years?

The First Fifty Years is a premium 188-page full-colour hardback commemorative book celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens. Published by PPP Company Limited (P3) in partnership with Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR), it documents five decades of the tournament's history, culture, and defining moments.

Who produced the book?

The First Fifty Years is published by PPP Company Limited (P3) in partnership with Hong Kong China Rugby (HKCR). P3 has over 30 years' experience producing luxury publications in Hong Kong.

Will the book include photography from the 2026 Hong Kong Sevens?

Yes. The book is published on 1 June 2026, after the anniversary tournament, so that photography from the 2026 event can be incorporated.

How do I place an order?

Are volume discounts available?

Yes. Discounts are available by volume band for orders of 50 or more copies. Please contact info@ppp.com.hk for a tailored quote.

What is the retail price?

The retail price is HK$780 per copy.

Can I get a customised edition with my company branding?

Yes. Corporate buyers can commission editions with a bespoke branded dust jacket. Additional presentation options — such as belly bands, presentation boxes, and personalised inserts — are also available. Please contact info@ppp.com.hk to find out more.

When is the deadline to submit custom dust jacket artwork?

Artwork must be submitted by 30 April 2026. Please get in touch as early as possible if you are interested in a customised edition, as design lead times apply.

How does payment work?

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. Your order is confirmed upon receipt of cleared payment.

What currency do you accept?

All prices are in Hong Kong Dollars (HK$).

When will I receive my books?

All editions will be delivered by 1 June 2026 within Hong Kong, China, and Macau. For orders placed outside these regions, estimated delivery is between 1–30 June 2026. You will receive tracking updates as your order is dispatched and in transit.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver worldwide. Bulk delivery to a single address in Hong Kong is included in the price for all orders of more than 10 copies. For deliveries outside Hong Kong, China, and Macau, we offer preferential DHL international shipping rates. Please note that a fuel surcharge is currently in effect and may affect the final shipping cost — this will be confirmed with you at the time of ordering.

Can books be delivered to multiple addresses?

Standard pricing includes delivery to one address per order. If you require split deliveries, please discuss this with your P3 contact — additional charges may apply.

How does buying the book support HKCR?

A meaningful percentage of revenue from every order is donated directly to Hong Kong China Rugby, supporting their 2027 Rugby World Cup campaign and community initiatives including Rugby for Good.
